Prizes, volunteers needed for bingo benefit
Do you like to play bingo? Do you have extra toothpaste, shampoo and other personal care items?
You can help Campus Ministry sponsor a volunteer opportunity for Catholic Charities' Exodus Residence, located at 819 Second Ave. S., Minneapolis. Staff will host bingo for the residents from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22.
Prizes are needed. Suggested items include (products geared toward men are needed more than for women, with a special need for items made especially for African-Americans): razors, soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, towels or gift cards for small amounts.
Those interested in playing bingo or who have items to donate are asked to stop by Campus Ministry, first floor of Murray-Herrick Campus Center, or e-mail Victoria Peterson.
