Graduate School of Professional Psychology Hosts Information Session Saturday on Minneapolis Campus

The College of Applied Professional Studies Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) offers both master of arts and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology; in addition, a nondegree option offers pre-approved M.A. counseling psychology courses to individuals with an awarded undergraduate degree.

The programs offer a practitioner-scholar model of training, which emphasizes the importance of preparing counselors and psychologists to provide direct service to clients. The Graduate School of Professional Psychology is committed to addressing the diverse needs of students through a variety of learning strategies that create a supportive and challenging environment.

Dr. Chris Vye, associate dean, will lead an information session on Saturday, April 21, in Room 450, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus, 1000 LaSalle Ave. The event will begin with an M.A. and nondegree session at 9 a.m. followed by the Psy.D. session at 10 a.m.
