Public Safety issues parking reminders

With classes well under way, the Department of Public Safety has a few reminders to pass on to students and staff.
Enforcement of parking restrictions and ticketing of vehicles parked on the St. Thomas campus without the appropriate permits will begin at 10 p.m. this Sunday, Sept. 7.
In addition, although construction of the new parking ramp on south campus continues, the Grand Avenue entrance to south campus is open, and parking is still available in Lots M, N, O and W.
We have been thrilled to see how many students are utilizing their bikes on campus. It is important to remember, however, that bikes need to be chained to bike racks and not to trees, railings, sign posts, etc.
