Purchasing Services Thanks Vendor Fair Attendees

Purchasing Services and Accounts Payable would like to thank everyone who attended the 2016 Vendor Fair. The event was a huge success with approximately 225 attendees in St. Paul and more than 100 in Minneapolis. With vendors providing lunch and premium raffle prizes, the fair was an opportunity for staff to meet the university’s preferred vendors and learn what they have to offer.

Eighty-four prizes were distributed between the two campuses. Top prize winners include Tom Glass and Judy Hilderbrand, who each won two Delta Air Lines tickets, as well as Darcy Brommer and Jackie Grossklaus, who guessed the closest number of pieces of candy in the Purchasing/Accounts Payable candy jar (the correct number of pieces were 604 in St. Paul and 616 in Minneapolis).

The annual event will return in 2017.
