The John P. Monahan Plaza will be purple again this Saturday.
“Purple on the Plaza,” an event held on the plaza before each St. Thomas home football game, will be held again Saturday, Nov. 19, as a warm up to the NCAA first-round playoff football game matching the St. Scholastica Saints (10-0) against the St. Thomas Tommies (10-0). Game time is noon.
“Purple on the Plaza” will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon and will feature food, beverages and hospitality.
“All are welcome as we prepare to cheer the Tommies on to victory,” remarked Steve Fritz, director of athletics.
The Tommies are ranked No. 3 nationally; the Saints are unranked.
