Register today for Garibaldi Three-on-Three Tourney
A St. Thomas student invites you to participate in the fourth annual Garibaldi Three-on-Three basketball tournament to raise funds for children with cancer. Proceeds go to Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, and people of all ages are welcome to play.
The tournament will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Minnetonka High School, 18301 Highway 7, in Minnetonka, Minn. The cost is $30 per player ($175 for a team of six).
Registrations are due today. Visit the Garibaldi Three-On-Three Tourney Web site to print out a registration form and for additional information.
The first Garibaldi Three-On-Three Tourney was held in April 2004, almost a year after Chris Garibaldi, 35, died from cancer. It was started by St. Thomas freshman Dan Morin and other friends of the Garibaldi family. The fourth annual tournament will honor Garibaldi's memory and raise awareness and money to help those touched by cancer. In the past three years the tournament has raised more than $45,000 to help fight cancer. Proceeds from this years' tournament will benefit the Hematology and Oncology Department at Children's Hospitals and Clinics.
