Kathleen Peterson
Peterson, 74, of Red Wing, Minn., died Monday, May 2, surrounded by family following a brief, courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Sidney and Margaret Buckingham on Feb. 7, 1937, in Nottingham, England. She married John Peterson on March 12, 1955, and they moved to the United States together shortly thereafter. She worked for the Ellsworth School District for 25 years and after retirement enjoyed Red Hat activities, trips to the casino, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth, Wis. An obituary and guest book can viewed at Hill Funeral Home.
