The Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) is sponsoring a shoe drive through Wednesday, April 18. Collected shoes will be donated to the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe Program. This program collects used athletic shoes and then grinds them up to make athletic courts, fields, tracks and playgrounds in areas of need.
All members of the St. Thomas community are invited to drop off old or worn out athletic shoes (of any brand) in a bin on the first floor of the Anderson Atheltic and Recration Complex. SAAC's goal is to collect 500 pairs of shoes.
