Shared Governance Review Committee is Sending a Survey to Faculty Members Today

University of St. Thomas full-time faculty members, as well as all those who serve on standing committees of the university, today will receive a survey via email from the Shared Governance Review Committee.

When a Shared Governance Plan was adopted by the university in 2006, it included provisions for a five-year review. The committee conducting the review is using today’s survey as part of that process.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.

St. Thomas’ Shared Governance Plan addresses the way faculty and administrators work together on curricular and administrative matters.

The review committee, chaired by Dr. Donald Miller, has been meeting with faculty committees, deans and the president’s staff. Today’s survey will gather feedback from faculty members themselves.

Miller is joined on the review committee by Sister Katarina Schuth, Dr. Bruce Kramer, Jane Canney, Dr. Richard Rexeisen, Dr. Jennifer Wright, Dr. Susan Alexander and Dr. Donald Weinkauf.

The deadline for returning the survey is Monday, April 4.
