The University of St. Thomas has selected Sun Life FMLASource as its new short-term disability and FMLA administrator effective immediately. Sun Life FMLASource is a third-party administrator that specializes in reviewing, processing and tracking disability and leave requests with the oversight of expert medical and legal staff. SunLife is the current administrator for the university’s long-term disability and life insurance benefits.
When employees need to apply for short-term disability or FMLA leave, they should notify their managers and then contact Sun Life FMLASource to begin the leave-request process.
