Sigma Tau Delta hosts tales of horror marathon reading tomorrow
St. Thomas' English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta/Iota Psi, presents a marathon reading of poems and tales of horror from 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 28, in the Koch Commons Fireside Lounge.
Selections will include tales by Edgar Allan Poe and Mary Shelley, as well as a viewing of "Nosferatu: A Symphony Horror," a 1922 silent film depicting Bram Stoker's Dracula. The marathon also will feature an open mic portion, so be sure to bring your favorite poem or tale of horror to share.
Canned and other nonperishable food items and monetary donations will be collected at the event to benefit the Neighborhood House.
Light refreshments will be served at the reading.
