AEA Scholars Host Professional Development Salon for School of Social Work

The St. Catherine University and University of St. Thomas School of Social Work invites the campus community to attend “A Reader’s Theater About People Who Care for People in Nursing Homes” on Friday, Nov. 19.

An example of an arts-informed research project that helps make research findings accessible and understandable to the general public, the performance and discussion will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. in Room 362 of the Coeur de Catherine student center at St. Catherine University.

The event is presented by Carol Ashwood, Debra Caravitis, Mari Folwick, Beth Rollie, Kelly Alfini and Anne McDonald – MSW Area of Emphasis in Aging (AEA) scholars. The audience and participants will have an opportunity to discuss issues addressed in the performance and related concerns with social work and aging.
