St. Paul campus hosts 15th Annual Igbofest Saturday
The 15th annual Igbofest, a festival that showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people of Nigeria, will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, on the St. Paul campus of the University of St. Thomas.
The event, open to the public, includes indigenous traditional performances and activities from many parts of Nigeria, as well as art and culture from other parts of Africa. Food, art and activities will be available for the whole family.
Igbofest will run from noon to 6 p.m. in the lower quad. (Rain site: Schoenecker Arena).
