St. Paul Seminary and St. John Vianney welcome everyone to 40-Hours Devotion Nov. 4-6
The St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity and the St. John Vianney Seminary invite the public to 40-Hours Devotion this weekend.
Here is the schedule:
Friday, Nov. 4
7 p.m. – Mass in the St. John Vianney Seminary Chapel followed by a procession from SJV to the St. Paul Seminary where 40-Hours Devotion will begin. Communal recitation of Compline will complete the evening’s devotions.
Saturday, Nov. 5
- Midnight – Joyful mysteries of the rosary in English
- 2 a.m. – Sorrowful mysteries of the rosary in German
- 4 a.m. – Invitatory psalm and Office of Readings
- 6 a.m. – Luminous mysteries of the rosary in Spanish
- 7:30 a.m. – Lauds
- 8 a.m. – Mass in St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity
- 10 a.m. – Glorious mysteries of the rosary in Latin
- 1 p.m. – Midday prayer
- 3 p.m. – Divine Mercy chaplet
- 5 p.m. – Vespers
- 7 p.m. – Contemporary praise and worship
- 9 p.m. – Vigil for the Sunday Office of Readings
- 10 p.m. – Compline
Sunday, Nov. 6
- Midnight – Joyful mysteries of the rosary in English
- 2 a.m. – Sorrowful mysteries of the rosary in Spanish
- 4 a.m. – Spoken invitatory psalm
- 6 a.m. – Luminous mysteries of the rosary in Spanish
- 8 a.m. – Glorious mysteries of the rosary in Latin
- 10:15 a.m. – Solemn lauds with concluding Benediction
- 11 a.m. – Mass in St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity
