STAR announces the following free events for Feb. 14-16:

• Valentine's Day performance by Ari Herstand and chocolate fondue Feb. 14

In the mood for an easy going Valentine's Day? STAR is hosting a free performance by Ari Herstand at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 14, at Scooter's. Come for some Valentine's Day snacks, including chocolate fondue!

• Performance by Comedy Sportz Feb. 15

Join STAR and Undergraduate Admissions for a free performance by Comedy Sportz at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium. (Be sure to be there by 8 p.m.) The event is free of charge, and guests are welcome.

• Trip to science museum's 'African Americans in Science' exhibit Feb. 16

Take a trip with STAR to the Science Museum of Minnesota to see the "African Americans in Science" exhibit Saturday, Feb. 16. Meet scientists, inventors and educators from the Twin Cities African American community and learn about what they do and the contributions they've made to science.

The bus will leave the arches at 12:30 p.m. and return at 3:30 p.m. Sign up today in the Box Office and Expeditions, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, at no charge. Only 30 spots are available so don't delay.
