STAR events: Halloween cooking class, Vikings game, 'Triple Espresso' comedy
STAR (St. Thomas Activities and Recreation) announces three upcoming events: a Halloween cooking class at Kitchen Window, a Vikings football game, and a production of "Triple Espresso" at the Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis.
Tickets will be available when you present your UST ID in the Box Office and Expeditions, lower level, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. No guests will be allowed for these events.
Halloween cooking class Oct. 31
Craving a homemade meal and don't have the time to cook? STAR will host a trip to Kitchen Window in Uptown on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Don't let the fact that it's Halloween discourage you – the cooking class will have a Halloween theme. The bus will leave the arches at 5:45 p.m. and return at about 9 p.m. so there still will be time for trick-or-treating. Tickets are available for $10 with a UST ID, beginning at 8 a.m. in the Box Office and Expeditions.
Minnesota Vikings vs. San Diego Chargers Nov. 4
Are you ready for some football? Join STAR at noon Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Metrodome, where the Minnesota Vikings will take on the San Diego Chargers. The bus will leave the arches at 11:30 a.m. and return at approximately 3:15 p.m. Tickets will be available for only $5 beginning Monday, Oct. 29, in the Box Office and Expeditions. A UST ID is required to purchase a ticket.
'Triple Espresso' production Nov. 8
Need a laugh after all those midterms? You're in luck! STAR is hosting a trip to the Music Box Theatre on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis for a production of "Triple Espresso" on Thursday, Nov. 8. The bus will leave the arches at 6:45 p.m. and return at about 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $5 with a UST ID in the Box Office and Expeditions beginning at noon Monday, Oct. 29.
