Kim Korn, founder of Create Advantage Inc., will offer his perspectives on the opportunities that abound as digital technology redefines the competitive landscape and means of creating value for businesses and organizations of all types. Organizations that will thrive in the years to come are embracing digital technology and pursuing the potential it holds for them.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast and networking. The presentation and discussion will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. in Room 203, Terrence Murphy Hall, on the university’s Minneapolis campus.

Cost of the breakfast presentation:

  • $25 – students and members
  • $35 – nonmembers
  • $40 – at the door

Presenting key ideas from his recently published book Infinite Possibility, Korn will show participants how to make sense of creating new value for their customers with digital technology. Though the virtual nature of digital technology offers limitless opportunities, real-world experiences have a richness that virtual ones do not. “How can companies,” he asks, “use the best of both? What kinds of experiences can they create? Which ones should be offered?” Learn how to make sense of offerings that fuse the real and the virtual.

In Infinite Possibility, Korn and co-author Joe Pine provide a new tool for exploring and exploiting the digital frontier. They delineate eight different realms of experience encompassing various aspects of reality and virtuality and use scores of examples to show how innovative companies operate within and across each realm to create extraordinary customer value.

Korn is a management practitioner turned author, speaker and business consultant. He helps companies unlock their potential to thrive indefinitely by becoming capable of creating ever-greater value. Korn was a management practitioner at Arthur Andersen (now Accenture) and Andersen Windows.
