Lecture on 'Careers in Nonprofit Organizations and the Impact of Giving Back' set for April 14

The Student Legacy Program Speaker Series will conclude on Wednesday, April 14, with guest speaker Steve Hoeppner, executive director of Development at the University of St. Thomas. He will talk about “Careers in Nonprofit Organizations and the Impact of Giving Back.”

Hoeppner's talk will begin at 8 p.m. in Room 154, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Pizza will be served. All students are welcome.

Hoeppner’s lecture is the final one in the yearlong speaker series sponsored by the Student Legacy Program, a student organization designed to increase awareness of alumni programming and the importance of philanthropy. Through an annual Student Legacy Campaign, the group also helps each new St. Thomas class establish a fund that it will build on as the class progresses toward graduation. This fund allows each graduating class to leave a gift for future generations.
