Students for Human Life, an undergraduate pro-life organization at the University of St. Thomas, will display 50 white balloons in a "Cemetery of the Innocents" today, Friday, April 16, on the upper quad to commemorate the estimated 50 unborn babies who die every day from abortion in Minnesota. The display will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fliers about the display and information about the pro-life movement will be available at the "cemetery." The flier also provides resources for those who are pregnant and would like help and for those who have had an abortion and would like to talk to someone.
Students for Human Life is a student-run organization that aims to uphold the dignity of human life from conception to natural death. It meets at 8 p.m. Mondays in the Koch Commons Fireside Room.
