Tommie Give Day is Tuesday, Nov. 15, and all faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the university’s second annual virtual fundraiser. This global display of purple power will bring much-needed financial support to the St. Thomas community.
There are several ways to join in the fun:
- Faculty and staff members: Get a jump on giving to the Faculty and Staff Annual Campaign! If you didn’t participate in last year’s campaign, this is an excellent opportunity to be one of the first for 2017.
- Students: Join us on John P. Monahan Plaza, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., for the Purple Puppy Power Hour (and a half). Secondhand Hounds, a local pet rescue organization, is bringing playful puppies to campus. For a nominal fee (1 minute for $1, up to 5 minutes for $5), you can play with a puppy. Sponsored by Tommie Give Day and the 2017 Senior Class Gift
- All Tommies: Make your annual gift to St. Thomas. Tommie Give Day brings us together to demonstrate the power of Tommies helping Tommies. Gifts of any amount add up to make a huge difference. You may designate your gift however you choose, but consider supporting the Annual Fund which benefits all of us at St. Thomas. Make your gift online.
Thanks to many generous donors, we are happy to announce that gifts made on Tommie Give Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar. All matching dollars will support the Annual Fund.
Track our progress throughout the day, and follow St. Thomas on social media to see all the fun surprises we have in store.
Faculty and staff who are participating in a payroll deduction plan through the Faculty and Staff Annual Campaign are encouraged to make an additional gift on Tommie Give Day. Thank you for your consideration.
Tommie Give Day starts at midnight on Nov. 15 and concludes at 11:59 p.m. Let’s show everyone the power of purple. Roll Toms!
