The Wellness Center and STAR will host the second annual Tommie Triathlon from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 28 (team triathlon) and Sunday, April 29 (individual triathlon) in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. All participants will receive a free T-shirt upon completion of the triathlon.
The events are open to undergraduate UST students only. Limited spots are available for both the individual and team triathlons. The early bird registration deadline is 4 p.m. Sunday, April 1. Students who register by this date will be entered in a drawing for "Beats" by Dr. Dre Tour Earbuds. Final registration is 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 11
Registration forms and waivers are available on the Wellness Center website. After registering, those who fail to show up on race day will be charged a $15 fee on their student accounts.
“Team” Tommie Triathlon
Teams of three students will sign up to participate in the “Team” Tommie Triathlon, which will be held Saturday, April 28. Each team member will compete in one event: swimming, biking or running. Each event will be 20 minutes in length, allowing a 10-minute transition period. The team that completes the longest total distance will win the team triathlon and receive its prize. Only one NCAA athlete is allowed per team. Register here.
“Individual” Tommie Triathlon
Individuals will compete in the “Individual” Tommie Triathlon, which will be held Sunday, April 29. Participants will compete in three events: swimming, biking and running. Each event will be 20 minutes in length, allowing a 10-minute transition period. The individual who completes the longest total distance will win the triathlon and receive their prize. Individual prizes also will be given to the first- and second-place male and female contestants who complete the longest total distance in all three events combined. Register here.

All participants who register by the early bird deadline (4 p.m. April 1) will be included in a drawing with one lucky winner of "Beats" by Dr. Dre Tour Earbuds.
