'Troubling Waters' discussion on popular culture, film continues today
"Troubling Waters: Discussions on Meanings and Messages in Popular Culture and Film," a series of interdisciplinary discussions on power, race, gender and culture, will continue from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 12. The event will be held in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
Student Randi Carlson, Dr. Todd Lawrence and Dr. Elizabeth Wilkinson, of the American Culture and Difference program, will show film excerpts and invite the audience to consider ways in which the films comment on elements of American culture.
The series, free and open to the public, is sponsored by American Culture and Difference, an interdisciplinary minor of the College of Arts and Sciences.
