UAWE Hosts Women’s Leadership Skills Panel Presentation on March 2

Three women in leadership positions at the University of St. Thomas will speak on Wednesday, March 2, about the skills they have acquired to work in their positions. The discussion will begin at 3 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.

Participants on the panel are: Jane Canney, vice president for student affairs; Dr. Marisa Kelly, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Sister Katarina Schuth, Endowed Chair for the Social Scientific Study of Religion in the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity and former Chair of the Faculty of the university.

Panelists will discuss the opportunities and challenges that greet women in academic leadership positions and will give ideas for showcasing strengths and skills.
