From the Financial Aid Office

To ensure that your financial aid for the upcoming academic year is processed correctly and efficiently, the Financial Aid Office (FAO) needs to be able to communicate with you during the summer months. While our office has made a dedicated effort to communicate with students electronically, it still needs to routinely send out paper correspondence and needs your help to ensure that you don't miss out on important information during the summer months.

Beginning Friday, May 12, the FAO will begin sending paper correspondence to your permanent addresses until classes resume in the fall. Keep in mind that the permanent address will be used even if you are enrolled in courses during the summer session.

Here are some simple steps you can take to stay connected:

  • Check your campus mailbox* regularly until you leave campus for the summer
  • Make sure UST has your correct permanent address on file
  • Frequently check your St. Thomas e-mail account and Murphy Online during the summer

* Students who do not have a campus mailbox receive financial aid notices at their local address.

If you have questions or concerns, please call the FAO, (651) 962-6550.
