Up 'til Dawn finale appreciation party is tomorrow
Stay Up 'til Dawn celebrating the huge success of the letter-writing event last fall. Participants are invited to the finale appreciation party from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 13, in Coughlan Field House.
Food, entertainment and more than 100 prizes will be featured. A raffle for prizes such as two semesters of textbooks, gift certificates to local restaurants, and local business packages will be part of the celebration.
Entertainment includes henna tattoos, caricatures, inflatables, game shows and a live band.
Those who were unable to attend the letter-writing party last fall are welcome. There will be an opportunity to send fundraising letters at tomorrow's event and then celebrate all night with more than 400 other Tommies who already have supported the children of St. Jude.
Up 'til Dawn is a nationwide philanthropic project that raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The hospital is dedicated to finding cures for catastrophic childhood diseases.
