ACTC to Present Sustainable Urban Communities Symposium Friday

The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities' first annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on Sustainable Urban Communities will be held at St. Catherine University on Friday, March 4.

This research symposium highlights the ways ACTC students contribute to the vibrant Twin Cities community through direct study, applied research, and community involvement.

The symposium is open to all ACTC students, staff, faculty, administrators and guests. The day will begin with concurrent panel presentations, followed by a poster session, faculty reception, shared meal and keynote presentation. The keynote, "The Art of Knowing: The Role of the Arts in Sustaining Communities," features a panel of four local visual artists who work in and with Twin Cities communities.

More information about the symposium and a registration link are available on the ACTC website.

The ACTC is a consortium of private colleges dedicated to academic excellence and urban sustainability through collaboration. The members of the consortium are Augsburg College, Hamline University, Macalester College, St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas.
