Geology, engineering students to discuss spring break trip to Iceland

Thirteen UST geology and engineering students will discuss their spring break trip to Iceland at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, in Room 124, O'Shaughnessy Science Hall.

During this informal brown bag event, the students will present photographs and talk about their experiences.

Two faculty members, Dr. Camille George (Engineering) and Dr. Kevin Theissen (Geology), led the trip to study Iceland's unique geologic setting, which provides an abundant source of clean geothermal energy, and to explore the linkages between the two disciplines.
