Veterans: Schedule an appointment on campus to learn about your benefits
Duane Bauer II, higher education coordinator for the Central Metro Region of the Minnesota Department of Veterans, will will be at St. Thomas from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in Personal Counseling, Room 360, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. He also will be available on Fridays: Oct. 12 and 26, Nov. 9 and Dec. 7.
Bauer, of the Veterans Resource Center staff, can provide one-to-one assistance as you navigate the transition from military to student life and learn about your benefits.
Veterans Resource Office staff also will help veterans and family members with personalized information about:
- Educational benefits and scholarships
- Veterans' employment help
- Medical benefits
- Mental health resources
- Family assistance services
- Service-connected disability claims
- Post-deployment transition issues
