Volunteers In Action applications due tomorrow
Applications for Volunteers In Action opportunities are due tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 21.
This year Volunteers In Action is offering five volunteer opportunities: The Listening House, Adopt-A-Grandparent, Boys & Girls Club, Junior Tommies and CLUES.
Days and times for volunteering vary depending on the individual site. "By giving just one to two hours a week you can make a difference in someone's life as well as experience things that will change your own," commented Bridget O'Neill, VIA coordinator.
