Volunteers In Action offers local service opportunities

Have some free time? Consider volunteering.

Volunteers In Action is a student-run organization that provides St. Thomas students with opportunities to get involved with the local community through service. Students can make a difference in someone's life by volunteering only a couple of hours a week.

Volunteer sites:

  • CLUES
  • Adopt-A-Grandparent
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Tommies Park and Rec
  • MEDS (fall 2009 only)

Stop by the Center for Intercultural Learning and Community Engagement, Room 153, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, to get more information.

To apply, pick up a short application form in the center or request an application via e-mail to Bridget O'Neill.

Applications are due Friday, Feb. 13.
