Welcome 2005 REAL Project and Summer Academy participants
University of St. Thomas faculty, staff and students are invited to a welcome reception for the 2005 Summer Academy and REAL Project participants at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in the Rogge-Leyden Dining Rooms, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
The REAL Project and Summer Academy are six-week summer transition programs for incoming underrepresented students at UST who plan to study in the fields of math, science and technology.
This year, there are 29 participants who come from Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Jersey and Texas. They all will be first-year students, beginning fall 2005.
