Welcome guests to campus this summer

Welcome guests to campus this summer

by Dan Taylor
Director, Conference and Event Services

Each summer, the University of St. Thomas plays host to a number of off-campus groups and generates $1.1 million annually in conference revenue. Our first guests arrive at the end of this month, so please welcome:

  • Minnesota Catholic Home Educators May 30-31.  More than 900 Catholic parents who home school their children will meet on campus for workshops and a vendor fair in Schoenecker Arena and Coughlan Field House.  Keynote speakers include Father Mitch Pacwa, S.J., founder and president of Ignatius Productions, and Catholic radio host Sally Robb.  For more information visit https://www.mnconference.org.
  • The ministry of Father Joseph K. Bill, V.C., will continue even after his untimely death last March when we host another six-day silent healing retreat led now by Father Anthony, V.C., from June 1-7.  About 150 people are anticipated for the sessions and daily Mass.  For more information visit www.FrBillUSA.net or call (651) 303-0532.
