Why should we take our daughters and sons to work?
The Luann Dummer Center for Women will host a round-table discussion of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday, April 26.
The discussion, from noon to 1 p.m. at the center, will include the original goals of the event and recent changes on the national Web site to a focus on both daughters and sons at a younger age.
The discussion will then explore if the event continues to have relevance for the University of St. Thomas and, if so, how the center can best support the original or new goals of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work.
Bring your lunch; dessert will be provided. The Luann Dummer Center for Women is located in Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center, on the St. Paul campus.
