William Woodson named director of MBA programs at Opus College of Business
The University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business has appointed William ("Bill") Woodson director of its MBA programs.
Woodson, 50, who recently moved to the Twin Cities after 10 years in Cincinnati and Chicago, is a 25-year business veteran whose credentials include a B.A. from Brown University, an M.A. from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and entrepreneurial experience with two startups.
Woodson has had managerial roles at Hewlett-Packard, Johnson & Johnson, Compaq Computer and operating company Ethicon Endo-Surgery. He also has his own diversity and business strategy consulting practice, Forward Motion Management Consulting, and is a member of the National Black MBA Association and vice president of the Black Alumni Association at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
He and his wife, Frances, have two children. Please welcome Bill and his family to the St. Thomas community.
