Career Fair and Career Services Center Will Be Held at Minneapolis Convention Center March 17-18

A Career Fair and Career Services Center will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on March 17 and 18 in conjunction with the 27th annual Forum on Workplace Inclusion.

Both the fair and center are free; they are designed for professionals, those who hold or are pursuing a college degree, and veterans.

  • The Career Services Center is available 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. The center offers clinics to improve interviewing skills, a resume clinic, and elevator and job-search clinics. These one-on-one coaching sessions include free editing and printing of updated resumes. Experts who specialize in working with veterans are also on hand.
  • The Career Fair, featuring corporate exhibitors from 50 upper Midwest employers, runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Those attending the fair are encouraged to pre-register so that their resumes can be previewed by fair exhibitors. These exhibiting companies are seeking professionals who hold or are working toward the minimum of a bachelor’s degree: college students, veterans, and professionals in business, engineering and information technology.

Cargill is the 2015 Career Fair sponsor. The lead sponsor for the 27th Forum on Workplace Inclusion is Prudential. The forum is presented by the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.

For more information on pre-registering as a Career Fair candidate visit the forum’s website here.

One of the largest diversity and inclusion conferences in the country, the forum attracts more than 1,200 participants from 35 states and more than 300 companies.
