If you work at the Minneapolis campus, or just happen to be there between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, stop by the credit union table in the second-floor hallway area of Terrance Murphy Hall to have some treats, sign up for a $25 raffle, and say hello to the credit union staff. The St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union is joining with credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union Week, with a 2010 theme of "Local, Trusted, Serving You."
Membership in the St. Thomas credit union is open to any UST employee and immediate family members.
"If you are already a member, stop by so we can put some faces with the phone voices and e-mail messages we receive," remarked Adreinne Sturm, credit union manager. "If you aren't yet a member, stop by and see what we have to offer – membership packets, loan applications, payroll deduction authorization forms, and 2011 pocket planners will be available for the taking."
Any St. Thomas employee can enter the raffle – if a nonmember wins the $25, it will be used to open a new account.
