The 2012 election season will culminate on Tuesday, Nov. 6, with the general election.
St. Thomas’ McNeely Hall will be a polling location for St. Paul's Ward 4, Precinct 6, which includes students who live on the main campus. To accommodate voters, the eastern section of Parking Lot K will be closed for voter parking from 2 a.m. to 10 p.m. Grand and Summit avenues from Cleveland to Finn will be posted for "No Parking" except for those who are voting in McNeely.
Students who live on the south campus or on the two blocks between Summit, Cleveland, Grand and Cretin avenues are in Ward 4, Precinct 7, and will vote at the Groveland Recreation Center, 2045 St. Clair Avenue.
Voters who live elsewhere in St. Paul can find their precincts on the Ramsey County Elections Precinct Finder. Students also can read more information from the Dean of Students Office on how and where they can cast their ballots.
Most polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Minnesota has Election Day registration, which allows voters to register at the polls. For more information about voter registration and candidates appearing on ballots, visit the Secretary of State Office’s voter information website.
UST Libraries offer a number of resources for voter registration and engagement. Visit the Vote 2012 research guide for more information.
