Stop by the Commuter Center for free snacks and smiles to help you through the day.
Stop by the center for fruit and bagels and learn about spring campus events and programs. Did you have a tough drive on the way to class? Do you need some fresh fruit or a bagel to get you going in the morning? Do you want to learn more about the events on campus and programs available for commuter students?
Find it all throughout the spring semester in the Commuter Center on Multicultural Monday, Fruity Tuesday and Bagel Wednesday (and Thursday and Friday as well):
Multicultural Mondays
Noon-1 p.m. March 3 and April 7
On Multicultural Monday, typically the first Monday of the month, a representative from Multicultural Student Services provides M&Ms and talks to students about upcoming MSS programs and events.
Fruity Tuesdays
10-11 a.m. Feb. 12, March 11, April 15 and May 13
On Fruity Tuesday, typically the second Tuesday of the month, a representative from the Wellness Center provides fresh fruit for a healthy midmorning snack and is available to talk about the health programs that the Wellness Center sponsors.
Bagel Wednesdays
8-10 a.m.
- Feb. 20, Financial Aid
- March 26, Academic Counseling
- April 23, Career Development
- May 14, finals week (no department)
On Bagel Wednesday, typically the third Wednesday of the month, various student services departments talk to students while they enjoy a free bagel.
The Commuter Center is located in the lower level of Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
