International students, mentors: Sign up for meditation session May 12
Are you becoming anxious and overwhelmed as the semester draws to an end?
International Student Services and the Wellness Center offer a one-hour session of mindfulness meditation and gentle movement to help international (and all UST) students prepare for finals. Learn tools that will enhance focus and concentration and help lessen distraction to keep you on task.
The session will be held at noon Tuesday, May 12, followed by snacks. Meet at 11:50 a.m. at the Wellness Center in the lower level of Koch Commons.
This meditation session is part of the Healthier U in the US program. It is open to undergraduate international students and mentors, and all UST students. The program provides education and assists international students in developing healthy lifestyle choices.
Registration for the event is required. To register, e-mail the Wellness Center by Monday, May 11. A return e-mail will confirm your spot. Register early; space is limited to 20 people.
