From the UST Libraries

MAC OS X now available for checkout -
In addition to MiniTab and Mathemetica, the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center and the Keffer libraries are now checking out software-installer discs for Mac OS X (Mac 10th Operating System) to UST students, faculty and staff with the usual waiver. Ask for this disc at the Circulation/Reserves desk.

Federal and state tax forms online
Last year 69 percent of Minnesota taxpayers filed their Individual Income Tax returns electronically; however, if you need a paper form, both federal and all 50 state 2007 tax forms are available online here. A set of Minnesota 2007 reproducible tax forms also are available at the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Circulation Desk for photocopying.

New research database

UST Libraries now provide access to the Oxford Encyclopedia of Women in World History, a comprehensive online source that studies the role women have played throughout world history, including significant research from women’s scholars from the past 30 years. The encyclopedia contains more than 1,300 signed articles, covering six main areas: biographies; geography, history; comparative culture and society, women’s and gender studies, and topics in world history. The articles illuminate how women worldwide have influenced and been influenced by historical, social and demographic changes. This database is searchable via the UST Libraries web page.
