Motion City Soundtrack rock concert is Saturday
Guess who's coming to campus? The influential rock band Motion City Soundtrack will perform Saturday, Sept. 20, in Coughlan Field House. Doors open at 7 p.m. The band, To Reinvent, will open the show at 7:30 p.m. The concert will end about 10 p.m.
Tickets are not needed, but get there early to claim your spot in line. Students can bring one guest with their student IDs. (The guest must show state-issued identification.) However, once 150 guests have been admitted, no additional guests will be allowed so that all St. Thomas students who want to attend can get into the concert.
Following the fall concert, from 10 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Sept. 20, Tommies After Dark invites students to enhance their inner musical talent.
Guitar tutors will teach students of all levels how to play this popular instrument in Campus Square. Sign up at the door.
Those who prefer to rock out on Guitar Hero can head to Scooter's.
