The University of St. Thomas Racial Justice Initiative (RJI) invites St. Thomas faculty and staff to its upcoming MasterClass session with Dr. Yohuru Williams: "More Than a Dream: Sixty Years After the March on Washington." Williams will explore the legacy of the 1963 March on Washington beyond Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech. This informative and thought-provoking presentation will include material from Williams' new book, More than a Dream: The Radical March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The virtual learning lesson is Sept. 13 at noon. An in-person "AfterClass Social" will follow on Sept. 19. The event is free, but registration is required. |
