One General-counsel Candidate Withdraws From Search Process; Friday's Interview Schedule Changed

One of the six finalists applying for the new general counsel and chief human resources officer position at the University of St. Thomas has withdrawn from the search process.

The finalists are participating in open interview sessions being held on the university’s St. Paul campus this week.

The candidate who withdrew from the process, Joanne Jirik Mullen, was scheduled for an open interview on Friday morning, July 15. Instead of Mullen, the candidate originally scheduled to be interviewed Friday afternoon will be interviewed on Friday morning.

The open interview session with the unnamed candidate will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, July 15, in the Rogge Room of Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

The open session scheduled for Friday afternoon has been canceled.

To accommodate those on the Minneapolis campus who would like to attend the Friday morning interview session, a shuttle bus will leave from the Minneapolis campus at 9:50 a.m. and will return at 11:25 a.m.

Members of the St. Thomas community are invited to attend the interview. The candidate’s credentials will be available and reaction is welcomed. Please direct comments to Mark Dienhart at mcdienhart@stthomas.edu.
