Public Safety Offers two new Parking Permits for Spring Semester

In an effort to respond to the changing parking demands on the St. Paul campus, the Public Safety Department is offering two new, one-time only parking permits – an R1/R2 garage contract for  faculty and staff, and an Anderson Parking Facility permit for resident students. Both permits will be good for the remainder of spring semester:

R1/R2 garage contract
The R1/R2 garage contract is available to St. Paul faculty and staff with current, noncontract, parking permits and will be valid for either the R1 or R2 parking garages beneath Morrison Hall. The contract will cost an additional $137.50, beyond the cost of the current permit and will be awarded through a lottery. Faculty and staff interested in entering the lottery for this contract must submit their lottery entry by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March  2.

Lottery results will be posted by 3 p.m. Thursday, March 3; those awarded contracts may pick up their hang-tags from the Parking Services office at that time. The lottery form is located on the Parking Services website. Payment for this contract will be through a one-time payment made through the Business Office.

Anderson Parking Facility permit
The Anderson Parking Facility permit is available to all resident students, including freshmen. The permit will be valid for a designated area within the Anderson Parking Facility and will be sold on a first come-first serve basis. The permit will cost $154 and will be available at the Parking Services office on March 3. The cost of the permit will be charged to the student’s account.

The Parking Services Office is located at 2119 Grand Ave., on the corner of Grand and Finn Street. Hours of Operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
