Please remember in your prayers Maheen Naz Butt, a graduate of the Department of Special Education in the University of St. Thomas' College of Applied Professional Studies. She died on Aug. 30 after a brief illness.
Maheen, a native of Pakistan, arrived in America for the beginning of fall semester in 2001 and experienced a unique perspective on our national tragedy. Maheen earned a master's in education, licensure in learning disabilities and a certificate in autism spectrum disorders.
