Please remember in your prayers Brittany Aker, sister of St. Thomas senior Amy Aker.
Brittany, a freshman at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, died Saturday, Nov. 22, in an automobile accident in Nebraska as she was returning home to Grand Forks, N.D., for the Thanksgiving holiday.
A wake will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 25, Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks. For further information or directions, call the funeral home, (701) 772-7070.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1018 18

Joseph Stoffel, father of Tom Stoffel, professor of accounting
Please remember in your prayers Joseph Stoffel, father of Tom Stoffel, professor of accounting in the College of Business. Joseph, 83, died recently. in A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. Vistation precedes the Mass and begins at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Eden Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the University of St. Thomas' Patrick McGowan Memorial Scholarship Fund.
