The Wellness Center and Personal Counseling are co-sponsoring the REAL Student Body Walk on Wednesday, March 3.
A collaboration of the University of St. Thomas, Macalester College, Hamline University and St. Catherine University students, the walk is being held to promote and celebrate a healthy positive body image for everyone. The walk is open to students, faculty and staff.
Participants are invited to bring a poem, quote or other written expression to share (written by you or someone else) that inspires your self-confidence.
The event will kick off at 3 p.m. at the Arches and proceed east on Summit Avenue to join students from St. Kate’s. It will continue along Summit to the Macalester campus to join students from Hamline and Macalester.
The walk will end at Macalester College’s Leonard Center with a rally and information fair featuring spoken word artists, counseling and nutrition information, and free popcorn. The event will conclude at approximately 5 p.m.
