Please remember in your prayers Thomas Cronin ’64, who died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 25.

Cronin, 70, was the most recent recipient of the university’s Monsignor James Lavin Award. (See video below.) He served on the university's Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2005 to 2011, and was vice president of the Marketing and Communications Committee for two years. He was instrumental in the success of his 40-year reunion and he was a frequent fan at Tommie athletics.
Mass of Christian Burial was said at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 Second Ave. N.W., New Brighton. Visitation was held at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 27, and one hour before Mass on Saturday.
Memorials preferred to the Tom and Linda Cronin Endowed Scholarship, University of St. Thomas, DEV, 2115 Summit Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105.
