“Troubling Waters: Discussions on Meanings and Messages in Popular Culture and Film,” a University of St. Thomas series of interdisciplinary discussions on power, race, gender and culture, will continue from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 3. The event will be held in the auditorium, Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
Student Breanna Alston and two English Department faculty presenters, Olga Herrera and Paul Lai, will show film excerpts and raise issues for discussion.
The series, free and open to the public, is sponsored by St. Thomas’ American Culture and Difference program, an interdisciplinary minor of the College of Arts and Sciences.
