Undergrads: Officially withdraw from any spring class you've registered for but will not attend

University policy states that undergraduate students who do not attend the first day of class may be dropped from the class roster at the discretion of the instructor; however, students should not assume that the instructor will drop them from a course if they fail to attend the first day. University policy also requires undergraduate students who are registered for classes to pay their fees and receive grades for them.

It is the students' responsibility to ensure that they are officially withdrawn from any course in which they are registered but do not attend.

If you have questions, call the Registrar's Office, (651) 962-6700.

Reminders:

  • First-semester, undergraduate freshmen must have the signature of their adviser on the Change in Registration form before the Registrar's Office can process it.
  • Students on a wait list are not officially enrolled. To become officially enrolled, students must get the signature of the instructor on a Change in Registration form, which can be found on the University Registrar Web site, and return the form to the Office of the Registrar in Room 106, Aquinas Hall.

Registration sites and times

Undergraduate students may add courses through Friday, Feb. 2, and drop courses through Friday, Feb. 9, by one of the following two methods:

  • Visit the Registrar's Office from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in Room 106, Aquinas Hall

Note: For undergraduate students, the last day to drop a course without a notation of "W" on the academic record is Friday, Feb. 9.
